JSON-LD
The JSON-based syntax for embedding structured data in a page.
JSON-LD lives in a script tag, separate from the visible markup, which makes it easier to maintain than inline alternatives and is the format search and AI systems prefer. Every page in this observatory carries JSON-LD describing what it is, when it was updated and where its figures came from.
